?? conditions ??: If you were cleaning your ears with a q-tip or other object you could scratch the canal lining and get a bleed. If it followed pain in the ear it could be an ear drum rupture from a rapidly progressing ear infection. If neither are true i can't think of another cause.A trip to your pcp during regular hours should sort it out.

Cut: You may have cut or scraped the ear canal or punctured the ear drum. You  should never use q tips in your ear canal. A rule of thumb is nothing smaller than your elbow in your ear,   see your doctor to make sure you did not do any serious damage to the ear.

Middle/external ear: Bleeding from the ear usually comes from the external ear canal (i.e. Scratch) or from the middle ear (infection and rupture of the ear drum). Either way, see your family doctor, internist, or ENT doctor to confirm the diagnosis.

Loud is always bad: A loud sound esp if sudden can cause your ears to bleed if your eardrum gets popped or blown out. You should have a doctor look at it especially if you have lost even a little bit of hearing after the loud sounds.

Two fold answer: You may have a previously undiagnosed bleeding disorder. You may have "pricked" your ear on a skin lesion, such as a basal cell. If direct pressure for 10-20 minutes doesn't make it stop, you should seek medical attention. Good luck.

See a doctor: you need to take him to your PCP or to a ENT you know that definitly is not normal it could be a perforated drum so do not mess with it and take him to a doctor preferably ENT

Inflammation: Is the cause of swimmers ear. The skin gets wet and boggy and inflamed and it could bleed from that or if he picks it at all it could bleed. If he had a middle ear infection as well and the eardrum perforated it could bleed. None of these are terrible problems. If you are concerned it is always a good idea to have it checked out.

: If one has significant ear pain I'd look for primary ear pathology before attributing it to intracranial bleeding. I know that high intracranial pressure can cause a pressure feeling in the ear though. A neurologist or neurosurgeon would have much more experience with intracranial bleeding &amp; whether it can cause ear pain.
