head feels spinning sometimes chest pains and also symptoms like pain in left hand and neck pain. i have done 2d echo reports are normal but i have pain in the spleen area and in back vitamins are also proper. what is the cause?

: you have described a number o symptoms without adequate detail. Without further detail as to what precipitates these symptoms
it is impossible to speculate. Report on the echo is reassuring. I do not believe your symptoms are cardiac in origin. Please make an appointment with your physician for further evaluation and studies if necessary.

Go see your doctor: Not to be rude but how do you know it's your spleen (area)? Best to have your family doc check it out. Low lying pneumonia can sit on diaphragm & irritate abdomen. Mononucleosis can cause spleen to enlarge. Trauma can cause spleen to rupture. Colon or large bowel bends in area of spleen (splenic flexure). Possible diverticulitis, even constipation can cause abdominal pain. So can kidney stones etc.

Not usual: Spleen is in high, uppermost left abdomen under the diaphragm.
It can enlarge but still in that area.

Mononucleosis?: The fact that you mention a sore throat in conjunction with tenderness in  your spleen area is suggestive of, but not conclusive, for mononucleosis. This could be evaluated with your primary doctor or a walk-in clinic with monospot testing. I would recommend that you get seen and evaluated for this.

Spleen/free fluid: it is hard to know what the lesion in your spleen is without a better description. Some free fluid in the pelvis is normal, a larger amount may indicate a rupture. Review the scan with your doctor today to sort this out. All the best.

Mult Possibilities: I hate my summary, but the 3 organs swollen do not really fit. The enlarged liver could be from the fatty liver, which contrary to a lot of information can hurt &amp; cause tenderness. A "swollen" liver depending on the cause and how advanced can cause can enlarged spleen. The large Pancreas does not quite fit, but fluid in the belly can cause this. Then there is the Lupus which changes everything.

i'm 38 & during a ct scan for a gyno issue, it showed a cyst on my spleen w/ peripheral calcification. they insisted it's probably from trauma & to ignore but i've never had any accidents or trauma to the area ever. what else could cause this?

: Many medical conditions like parasitic infection- TB, histoplasmosis etc can also cause it besides trauma- if no trauma than the other causes can be investigated

Yes: Although very rare, an aneurysm of the artery that feeds the spleen can give one the impression that the spleen may be "beating".  This can usually be diagnosed by an ultrasound of the abdomen.  Keep in mind that the spleen sits right below the diaphragm on the left side and the heart is just above the diaphragm on the left, so you may simply be feeling your heart beating.
