Tough: How long has problem occurred ?  Could be many causes.  Early shingles, spasms between ribs, irritation  at rib/cartilage junction, something going on in lung base, somatic (muscles and connective tissue).  You are going to need to get this one checked out.

i got acid reflux problem.im taking nexium (esomeprazole).but from last 2 weeks i have back pain left side close to shoulder  blade  in rib cage area. why is that?

?unrelated: Stomach intestinal issues should not be referred to the back unless something serious is going on such as perforation, pancreatitis, bleeding. If you have pain in your shoulder it could be referred pain or something completely unrelated. For this type of complaint a face to face with your doctor will likely provide better answers to a complex question. Good luck

Ribs pain : Generally, if a muscle or bone is tender when palpating it (touching it) and it the location of the pain one can conclude it is the source of pain. At times it still can mean that there is a referral of pain from other regions of the body like an organ inflamed. See your doctor

Gyn Examination: You should go see your family doctor or a gyn doctor and have a pelvic examination done. It is easy to tell if you ahve any growth or a cyst with the use of a pelvic ultrasound which your doctor can order. Cysts are benign, they rarely turn into cancer, so do not worry much about that happening.

Referred: That is a common area for pain referred from the area you had surgery.  I would make sure your surgeon is aware.  The other possibility is you have developed another condition such as gall bladder disease, for example.

See a doctor: Without being able to exam it is difficult to answer. However you did have a object inserted and this can cause a tear at the anal sphincter. This causes pain when having a BM. The pain makes it so you do not have a full BM which causes constipation, causing lower abdominal pain. 
Please see a doctor for a detailed exam to make sure there is no other cause.

: Symptoms from pancreas or stomach is often associated with nausea &amp; vomit. Muscular problem is usually precipitated or exacerbated with movement, somewhat relieved with local massage. Nerve pain, such as shingles-related neuralgia or post-herpetic neuralgia can radiate from back to front but always ipsilaterally. Left kidney pain can't be ruled out but it usually radiate to the groin + voiding sx.
