Slight pain left side of back below rib cage spreading up to shoulders worse when standing and active deep breathing makes me cough and feels cold?

Tough: How long has problem occurred ? Could be many causes. Early shingles, spasms between ribs, irritation at rib/cartilage junction, something going on in lung base, somatic (muscles and connective tissue). You are going to need to get this one checked out.
