will the fat from salmon make me gain weight? especially if i eat a large portion 2x a week? i'm so confused w healthy fats & bad fats, whats the dif. w their effect in the body, what are foods with good & bad fats, what kinds of fats are good & bad?

Salomon: contains good fat, Omega 3, so it's good to eat.  Avoid transfats, those made by humans, basically chemicals that preserve junk food.  Omega 6 fats are found in vegetable oils such as corn oil, canola oil, etc.  We ave too much in our body already.  Look for Omega 3 such as in fish oil.  Peace and good health. i had blepharoplasty a month ago. can i eat raw salmon for faster healing? any other food to recommend? i eat many fruits and vegetables for vitamins.

Salmon could be good: Uncooked salmon, if prepared well as in sushi, can be consumed. But would this speed up your healing process? Probably not. Eating a healthy, balanced diet, along with plenty of exercise to attain a healthy body/mind will help body recover from disease/surgery/trauma better. Your wound should be mostly healed now and a bit of remodeling continues to occur for maybe 6 months or more. Good luck.

im aware that red meat and processed meat causes cancer. apparently also foods preserved by salting causes cancer. what kind of foods are preserved by salting? is it any food that has salt in the ingredients or specific foods like smoked salmon?

: Salt does not cause cancer. You can reduce your risk of cancer by adopting healthy habits: Eat a mostly vegetarian diet, avoid alcohol, tobacco and street drugs, avoid excessive exposure to sun, maintain healthy weight, get HPV vaccine, exercise 30 minutes each day, drink enough water so your urine is mostly colorless. how serious can nut and salmon allergies be? if i have these foods and then brush my teeth, is it possible for me to kiss a guy with these allergies?

Could kill him!: Don't take any chances, some allergies to fish and nuts are so severe, that even the the slightest amount of exposure to the allergens could be deadly! Better to avoid these foods as if you were allergic or yours could be the kiss of death!

: Ask specifically what it is in fish that they want you to get away from and then see if there is an FDA approved pill to more of that.  I would ask about the evidence that they have that eating fish vs other things helps. With your problem. You can also search pubmed.gov to see what you can find.

Hives are due to release of histamine, commonly related to allergy to foods, medicines, viruses, molds, animals, pollens, etc... Some people release histamine and get hives when exposed to cold temperatures, cold water, sunshine, stressful situations, etc...

Yes: As long as you take your Omeprazole 1/2 - 1 hour before your breakfast that should be ok.
