See dermatologist: Since it is sore, I am more concerned with an infection. Mascara is the most commonly contaminated eye product and should be replaced regularly. I would suggest stopping all eye make-up for at least a week and see if the problem improves. If not, see a dermatologist/allergist.

i have some red itches of skin on my eyelids that appeared about a month ago. they are sore, looked dry and occasionally peel. haven't changed soaps. ?

Blepharitis: This is an inflammation of the eyelids. If it has been present for a month, you will need to see an eye doctor. The soreness is suggestive of an infection vs itching an allergic reaction.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you. Your symptoms suggest allergy and you may try over the counter allergy medication. If that does not help, it would be useful to see your doctor.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

i got a mosquito bite on my upper eyelid over night and my eye is swollen, stinging, itchy and sore. i've put a cold cloth on it but it hasn't helped.

See an eye doctor or: PCP. You have a preseptal upper kid cellulitis developing that requires an antibiotic coverage orally and topically. Don't delay! The bite is causing the lid to swell. Cold compress may not help that much. Warm compressing may be better for 10 mins. four times a day. This can turn into orbital swelling. So don't sit on it, or you'll need IV ABx in the hospital. Prevention is key!

Dry eyes!: Sounds like you have dry eyes.  Use artificial tears (consider preservative free) and oral omega-3's to make them more moist.  Use the tear drops one drop 3-4 times a day, every day.  If no improvement, then see your eye md for full diagnosis and treatment plans.

Conjunctivitis : May be a cause however there are a number of other inflammatory conditions some can be sight threatening.  Recommend see doctor for examination

To ER!!: You need to be seen by an ophthalmologist as soon as possible .  They can patch the eye and give you some analgesics.

Corneal abrasion: Although very painful, it is probably not serious.  Get yourself to an emergency room to have your eye checked out.  Probably a corneal abrasion.  Your eye should be cleaned out and, perhaps, warm compresses applied.  Best to avoid falling asleep with contacts in -- too risky.  But i think you'll be fine -- just get yourself to the doctor.
