Corneal abrasion: Although very painful, it is probably not serious. Get yourself to an emergency room to have your eye checked out. Probably a corneal abrasion. Your eye should be cleaned out and, perhaps, warm compresses applied. Best to avoid falling asleep with contacts in -- too risky. But i think you'll be fine -- just get yourself to the doctor.

See an eye doctor: Rather than going to the emergency room, i would advise you go straight to an eye doctor. You may have a corneal condition more serious than an abrasion.
