i have had unilateral pulsatile tinnitus for 3 years now in my right ear. i have done numerous tests and seen numerous specialists but to no avail. no signs of elevated csf level & no spinal tap done. does bruxism cause pt? i use a self dx mouthguard?

Look at your TMJ: When does your tinnitus occur.  A particular time of day or night?  When you wake up?  Does it get worse as the day wears on?  Lots of questions.   With the. lose proximity,  I might advise seeing an oral surgeon and see if your TMJ is the cause of your problem.  They're close to each other.

i am 23 and i have tinnitus without visible cause. since last week, when i hear some noises (high-pitched) my right ear respond by "booming". ?

Tinnitus: The most common cause of persistent tinnitus is hearing lost: other causes are TMJ disorder or neck problem. Please see an ENT doctor for examination and hearing testing

i am experiencing ringing from my right ear and migraines from loud noise. i do not feel ear pain. could  this be related to tinnitus?

i've had tinnitus for 7 years, now suddenly pounding like my own heartbeat in my right ear, can't something be done about this? i take lipoflavanoid to help, but it just aids a little.    i have state-of-the-art hearing aids, but they do not help

What : What you are describing sounds like pulsatile tinnitis. Before recommending treatment, it would be reasonable to reconnect with your ENT to explore possible causes that include certain vascular tumors of the head and neck ( i.e., paragangliomas), atherosclerosis that may be creating narrowing and turbulent flow of your carotid artery (which runs close to your middle ear), possible avm (arteriovenous malformation), etc. After a thorough head and neck exam, and audiogram, he/she may wish to get a contrast ct or mri/mra study. Just curious, with you being on lipoflavanoids, have you been diagnosed with meniere's disease?

i have swollen submandibular nodes for over 2 years. clicking in my right ear that has developed pulsatile tinnitus. petechiae for 6+ months and a slight dry cough that won't go away. what could this be? please advise?

No: I wish i had a cure for tinnitus! (i suffer from tinnitus, probably from too much rock and roll). It can be particularly annoying in quiet environments, late at night, for example. There are "maskers" that provide a 'white noise' input that distract from the ringing, but there are no reliable treatments.

i have been experiencing tinnitus in my right ear for four weeks now. will it ever go away? could taking acetaminophen like tylenol be the cause?

Tinnitus: Possible, a little more likely with Aspirin or NSAID. Either way if you have been having tinnitus for 6 weeks then I would be seen.

i have tinnitus with no hearing loss and no cause affecting my right ear. i noticed when i turn my head right the tinnitus goes up and right back down. could my neck be the cause of my tinnitus with that symptom proving it?
