both ears feel wet in morning. (21weeks pregnant) had eustachian tube problems since 16 weeks. what is causing this? ent says my ears are normal. ty

Wet ears: Unless you're experiencing night sweats or fevers, moisture in the ear canal suggests some abnormality within the ear canal(external otitis, or eczema) or in the middle ear. However these conditions would be recognized by  physician or your otolaryngologist. If you have associated itching of the ear canal, ask your obstetrician if cortisporin otic ear drops would be ok for you to try.

every morning and sometimes throughout the day my inner ears are wet.  wet enough to keep my earbuds from sealing.  what is the cause of this ?

Needs evaluation: If you are having fluid leaking out of your ears that isn't coming from a shower or bath, you should definitely have a doctor look at your ears to evaluate what is going on. Outer ear infections can cause oozing, and are treated with antibiotic ear drops.

You might: have external ear infection, so have your doctor check it out.  If so, it can be treated easily.

Ear issues. : Symptom of black ears and wetness to the ears with pain could be something as simple as allergies, which quite frankly could last all year long. At this point, though, it would be good to have a physician take a look at those ears to confirm or deny.

this morning my ears felt quite wet and waxy (unusual for me) i cleaned them and fine now, i'm sure it was a whitey colour liquid. what could this be?

Maybe just wet wax: If the wax in the ear is saturated with water, it will often assume a white soft consistency.  Some people develop eczema of the ear canal skin which often weeps a whitish thin fluid.  If you have a perforation of the eardrum, you can develop similar drainage.  You should have the ear examined if the problem persists or if pain or hearing loss develop.

every morning i wake up with wet ears. i have no symptoms of infection such as pain or hearing changes, what could cause this?

Accepted Answer

One idea: It's a long shot, but we don't want to miss it. If the fluid contains glucose (your physician has a reagent pad and can tell), you could be leaking cerebrospinal fluid. This would be very uncommon from both ears. Have you ever had serious head trauma / basal skull fracture?

Nasal congestion : Need more information but sounds like allergies so if you’re doing ok with OTC allergy medication than ok

having a tiny amount of white discharge when i squeeze my penis in the morning. throughout the day my penis head seems to be wet but no color discharge. tested negative for stds except a equivocal hsv 2. could this be hsv 2? what else can cause this?

: Herpes is not a possibility for this. Probably you're just seeing normal urethral fluid, or perhaps residual pre-ejaculate fluid that accompanied normal erections during sleep. If you start seeing more, e.g. staining of your underwear, get it checked out.

my teen got staphylococcus aureus inside & outside of ears. he took his last pill the morning. when is follow-up be done. same day or following day?

Hard to say: Staph is an unusual thing to treat around/in the ear, but does happen. You didn't mention the middle ears but it would be truly rare as an issue there. For canal and or pinna (ear) involvement, one would think you could treat and be done unless you felt symptoms were recurring. Follow up if needed should have been suggested at the time of initial treatment. A call to the office could clarify this.

why is water coming out from ear after waking up in the morning?

Accepted Answer

Water out of ear: It could be water that got into the ear from showering.  Sometimes water gets stuck behind ear wax, and doesn't drain out until you're lying down and get in the right position.  If there's pain or fever, that's more indicative of infection.
