Why is water coming out from ear after waking up in the morning?

Water out of ear: It could be water that got into the ear from showering. Sometimes water gets stuck behind ear wax, and doesn't drain out until you're lying down and get in the right position. If there's pain or fever, that's more indicative of infection.
