Nasal congestion : Need more information but sounds like allergies so if you’re doing ok with OTC allergy medication than ok

Inner ear pain/pressure for 3 mos. Been to an ent, no drainage/wax, MRI clear, use fluticasone 2x daily, popping ear exercise, no help...Pain daily.
Continous popping sounds both ears for a few months now. No blocked or runny nose, no allergies, no wax in ears. Tried antihistamines, flomist, Iliadin, mucolytics and decongestants without relief.
Periodically I get the most severe stabbing pain in the outside of my ear, no earache, no cold no allergies. Just happens out of the blue. ?
Can I fly with fluid in my ear due to allergies? I don't have an ear ache. I can't stand nasal sprays... are there plugs or pills I can use instead?
