Its a "balance": Your activity and your diet are the major factors in Weight Gain/loss. Stress usually leads to loss of appeitite. Sounds like you need to speak with someone about the stress in your life. Your Primary Care Provider or Local Health Department may help.

Yes: This is simple arithmetic.  If you are taking in more calories than you are consuming you will gain weight, and to the contrary if you're taking in less you will lose weight.  If you want to lose more weight then either eat less or exercise more and burn more calories.  Otherwise no problem.  Keep up the good work.  Am impressed at your dedication.

It depends: Topiramate combined with a mild stimulant has actually been approved for weight loss.   Some people find their appetite goes down with use.  Like most medicines,  however, individual differences in responses can occur.   Rather than say topiramate causes weight loss I would prefer to say it is associated with weight loss in some patients.    The reasons for same I'm not sure anyone knows for sure.

Protein: This is usually because the carbohydrate content is usually lower.It is the high glycemic index, sugar laden foods that are so unhealthy and fattening.Sugar is the addiction causing ill health today.

Tailbone pain: Weight loss should not lead to tailbone pain - if this persists i would recommend seeing a md for further evaluation.

Wt loss 3rd trimeste: You normally should not be losing weight during your 3rd trimester.  Best to check this out with your doctor to find the cause.

Not typical: It matters if your period s were normal for a long time before this three months. It matters how much your total weight is and how much you exercise, and the level of stress. It may be more significant than what you think it is.

If you can't get in but have those worsened symptoms please have someone take you to the nearest Emergency facility.
