Find the cause: When there is injury to our skin, inflammation occurs which means the area becomes red, warm, tender and with swelling.  The swelling occurs under the skin layers and then can leak out of an open wound.  The fluid contains water, protein, electrolytes and cells that give it color.  This is a natural process and aids in healing.  As it heals, the drainage will decrease.  Keep it covered.

Severe eczema: Weeping rash in this young age should be seen in an office and best to see ur pediatrician and ask for a referral to a dermatologist. Also they now have blood tests for allergen testing so you do not have to wait for the baby tog et older for skin testing to see what measures will help with the eczema.

Very advanced edema: The causes of this are fairly serious problems in the vascular system. Sufficient blockage creates so much lymphatic back-pressure that vessels rupture and fluid seeps out finally through the skin. The internal damage is fairly advanced by this time so other than actions/positions that might feel a bit less painful. Raised leg positions & compression socks might still help some. See a dr for help.

i have weeping sore on left leg, antibiotic cream not helping - i switched to tee tree balm & sore is closing. could this have been avoided? 1st skin hurt i couldnt touch with own fingers, skin texture then became youthful, & pain in left shin, why?

: suggest that you see dermatologist if this sore develops again and the pain either continues or worsens. This could possibly be @ a virus { herpes } esp. if this had occurred in the past. Best to get evaluated should the problem recur.
