Not sure about the: Numbness but taste actually comes from smell. Are you having allergy problems and possibly a lot of post nasal drip?

Dry mouth: You should see a doctor and get some blood tests.  Some medications can do this but so can multiple illnesses - these are very non specific symptoms.
