Not sure about the: Numbness but taste actually comes from smell. Are you having allergy problems and possibly a lot of post nasal drip?

Nose congestion ornerve damage: Medicines can cause that symptom is it on one side or both sides of the tongue? could be due to nasal congestion. Is it on just one side of the tongue ?could be due to nerve damage
