a  physical therapist friend said i had a water... something around my shoulder area. can you help me to figure out what that is... i can't find his #?

Any symptoms?: Do you have any symptoms? Is there a swelling? Do you have full range of motion in your shoulder? Do not go chasing some thing that may not exist.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

i woke up with a water filled blister on my shoulder that was very painful. i popped it but there is another now and the area around it is red. what could this be?

Maybe shingles?: Shingles is a rash only on one side of the body - usually reddened skin with small blisters.

Not sure: I'm not sure what you mean by a "water sensation." i suspect, though, that you are describing either nerve irritation or a psychological "feeling" because of a variety or issues. 

See your physician so he or she can narrow the possibilities and, if necessary, run some tests. Then you can get the medical care you deserve.

Popping sound?: If you are referring to a popping sound with no injury, no pain, no slipping out of socket, no sequela- then I wouldn't worry at all. Take care.

how can you treat water slide burn on shoulder?

Topical: A waterslide burn is likely just a superficial maceration to the skin like a strawberry from skinning your knee.  I would treat with topical calamine and antibiotic save.  Letting the area dry out quicker will allow the formation of a scab which effectively serves as a bandaid.  Don't pick it off.  If it starts looking infected you may need to see a doc.

i have water retention  on my left shoulder . its not really painful  but it snaps  and pops and makes movement sort  of  troublesome . ?

Bursitis?: Sounds like it's either bursitis or a joint effusion, which is fluid inside the joint itself.  We recommend anti-inflammatories (if safe for you) and rest.  If the fluid persists, your physician may be able to drain if in his/her office.

mild shoulder pain when raising shoulder ie for taking a sip of water. in bench press like movement slight pop sound. no pain without moving?

Instability: Either the shoulder joint or the rotator cuff could be involved here.  The slight popping suggest the possibility of shoulder instability.  Proper right shoulder strengthening/rehab is usually successful in treating shoulder instability, although occasionally, surgery is necessary.  See a physician if symptoms persist.

every time i drink cold water, i get a sharp pain in my left shoulder. this has been happening for at least a year but never before then. very recently i have been feeling a slight pain below my right side of the rib cage. i also easily get full.bad?

: Referred pain to the left shoulder can indicate that there is a problem in your stomach or abdomen. Gastritis, stomach ulcer, pancreatitis and various other ailments can cause this referred pain. You need an in person exam by your Dr, with labs and potentially imaging to diagnose and treat whatever is going on. Delay will only make things worse.
