I woke up with a water filled blister on my shoulder that was very painful. i popped it but there is another now and the area around it is red. what could this be?

Maybe shingles?: Shingles is a rash only on one side of the body - usually reddened skin with small blisters.

Get checked: Did u spend a fair amount of time out in the sun? Be sure to watch the redness as it may be early signs if infection. Get in to see ur doctor?
