Rare but possible: It is exceedingly rare, but not unheard of, to have delayed anaphylaxis to a sting, and the mechanism, of course, is unexplainable (theoretically, perhaps, T-cell mediated anaphylaxis to peptide components).
Regardless, you should be seen urgently for a proper assessment of your airway, and treatment as indicated. A referral to allergist should be the next step.

Ice and Zyrtec.: Ice it to reduce itching, pain and swelling.  Do not scratch it.  Take Zyrtec to counter act the allergic reaction.  See a doctor if it is not better.

Wasp Sting: Remove stinger by scraping along edge of skin with credit card. Clean area with soap ; warm water. Apply ice in 10 min. Increments; alternating 10 on ; 10 off. You can take tylenol, (acetaminophen) Aspirin or Motrin for pain or Benadryl for swelling. Make a paste of 2 parts baking soda ; 1 part water ; apply. Or you can apply a meat tenderizer poultice to the area. Throat, airway, mouth swelling? Call 911!

Supportive care: Swelling and redness solely around the sting is also known as a large local reaction.  Cold compresses, topical steroid creams, and oral antihistamines such as zyrtec or Benadryl (diphenhydramine) can be helpful.  Depending on the extent of the swelling, some patients require prednisone.

A PASTE MADE OF UNSEASONED MEAT TENDERIZER WITH A FEW DROPS OF WATER CAN HELP IF DONE AS SOON AS THE STINGS ARE NOTICED.
OVER THE COUNTER CORTISONE CREAMS CAN OFTEN HELP.

Ice and elevate: Sounds like this is a reaction to the sting.  I'd recommend ice, elevating your foot, using nsaids (like ibuprofen), and benadryl (diphenhydramine).

Remove stinger: Please ensure that the stinger from the insect is not embedded in the skin. Swelling is typical after this type of sting, keep the wrist elevated  and the area clean.  Watch carefully. If you notice the swelling increasing, spreading redness, more pain or changes in your breathing go to the doctor promptly.  Take care and avoid further stings.

: Local reactions of warmth, swelling and redness are common after a wasp or yellow jacket or bee sting.  This is a reaction to the venom and local injury.  Cellulitis would take a couple days to take hold.  Meanwhile, apply cool wet compresses to the area and take some acetaminophen/Tylenol.  If you are able to take ibuprofen, this will help with the inflammation if taken over the next few days.

Wasp Sting: Clean area w soap &amp; warm water. Apply ice in 10 min. increments (10 on/10 off). Can try Tylenol, (acetaminophen) aspirin or motrin for pain or Benadryl for swelling. Make paste of 2 parts baking soda &amp; 1 part water &amp; apply. Need tetanus shot every 10 years. For swelling &gt; 4 inches, nausea or vomiting - seek medical attention.

why is my throat swollen from a wasp sting? i got stung on my earlobe then it went down to my neck and it's like i can feel my tunsels  dangling

Bee sting: You are describing some regional  hypersensitivity  with excessive swelling of surrounding areas. I would be concerned about a developing bee sting allergy from this exposure with the throat swelling. Anaphylaxis to bees can be life threatening. You should see an allergist who deals with Hymenoptera  allergies for evaluation/ testing. It sounds like you need to carry an epi pen.
