Bee sting: You are describing some regional hypersensitivity with excessive swelling of surrounding areas. I would be concerned about a developing bee sting allergy from this exposure with the throat swelling. Anaphylaxis to bees can be life threatening. You should see an allergist who deals with Hymenoptera allergies for evaluation/ testing. It sounds like you need to carry an epi pen.
