I wouldn't: This is an old myth based on adult treatments.Infants have tiny nasal passages the react with swelling and congestion to any irritant; be it smoke, dust or the fumes or fragrance created by Vicks.I never recommend it before school age. I consider it air pollution when used around infants.

Yes you can: Don't get it in your nose, and do not rub it in your eyes, but you can put some under your nose to relieve congestion.

Eyelid eczema: This can be from contact dermatitis or environmental allergies. If you are not exposed to cats, then you need to have a patch test to determine your contact allergens, such as make up and nail polish. A dermatologist or allergist can help.

No, I do not believe rubbing it on your feet will do anything for chest congestion.

Probably but: this is not a long-term solution. If you have allergies leading to chest congestion, you likely have asthma which requires anti-asthma medication.  The long term side effects from  inhaling  Vapor Rub is unknown.

:  A  cool air mist humidifier and boby nasal drops with gentle suction may be used. Monitor your child's temperature and keep him well hydrated. Vicks rub may be used in small quantities and the face/nose should be avoided. There is an aspiration risk from swallowing the preparation. Please follow up with your PCP if there is a fever for more than two days, prolonged or worsening.

Nasal congestion: consult with your ENT you may have sinus problems. do you know if you suffer from allergies as that can also cause nasal congestion

Cough : it's time to see your doctor.  A 3 month old with cough and congestion needs a thorough evaluation from a doctor to make sure all is well.  Yourcdoctorvsgsin advise you about how to help your child.  I hesitate to give you any more advice until you see your doctor.   Go !

fluids , saline: Fluids, rest and monitor for fever.Please see your pediatrician for worsening, eye redness or rash.
