why is my palm sore & vein popping out?

Sorry,: But I am not aware of veins in the palm. Bulging vein on the back of your hands yes, it is seen during seniority when skin gets thinned and we are losing the fat pad around the veins. Than the veins look as they bulge more, 
the question is do you possibly confuse veins with tendons, as they are in the palm of your hand. If the hurt see a physician to rule out dupuytren's contracture!

Levels  of hydration, genetics, outside temperature and any increase in pressure within the chest will enlarge the neck veins.

It pulsates that is sometimes difficult to feel but a ultrasound examination will easily detect the pulsations synchronous with the heart rate. Should not be injected!
