Watch out!: While there are veins in the temple that are popping out (see www.Gorenveincenter.Com) easily treatable i suggest to be cautious as in the area you can find the superficial temporal artery that is some people is really visible. It pulsates that is sometimes difficult to feel but a ultrasound examination will easily detect the pulsations synchronous with the heart rate. Should not be injected!
