Ovarian veins.: Varicose veins of the ovaries are usually a sign of pelvic congestion syndrome but could also be a normal variant.  There is no association between ovarian veins and cancer.  See you gynecologist for further info.

Don't worry: Left ovarian veins( pleuxes) drain to left renal vein, (in men it is vericocele ) form veins ,  will not interfere with your pregnancy or  delivery.. Very rarely if left kidney tumor  when renal vein gets blocked also show those veins , you don't have to worry about it.

Collection of veins: It is a benign tangle of veins. Only do something if gets larger and/or causes pain. Men can have them in their scrotums and they are called varicoceles.

Potential Problem: Ovarian varicosities are usually due to increased venous pressure from either stenosis or occlusion of the iliac, hypogastric or pelvic veins.  It is often associated with pelvic congestion syndrome. The presence of ovarian varicosities by itself may not be of any concern.  However, if there are associated pelvic congestion syndrome symptoms then these varicosities should be evaluated.

Appearance first: The first sign that you have varicose veins is that you can see them.  They are can large or small and fairly straight or very squiggley.  They are usually below the knee, but can be in the thigh as well.  Initially, they might be completely painless but the longer you have them, the more likely they are to cause pain, heaviness, cramping, tiredness, fatigue, throbbing,  itching, and  swelling.

Compression hose: Wearing compression hose or stockings may help, but if you are genetically predisposed to varicose veins, they may only delay the onset.  You should get properly fit for compression stockings, and wear the proper length based on your symptoms.  If you are having swelling or pain in the legs from venous reflux, you should get it checked out.

Yes: Vaginal varices  can itch but often are also associated with labial varices which also can cause irritation and itching.  Do not forget, however, that vaginal itching is more commonly associated with vaginal infections or fungal skin infections, sometimes with urinary tract infections.  I would recommend you see your doctor before assuming that the cause of itching is from the varices.

Physical Therapy: Physical therapy will not really be helpful. Compression can help, sclerotherapy may help or vein stripping surgery.

Compression devices: Compression devices directly address the damaged valves inside your veins. Which leads to venous hypertension. The compression squeeze decreases edema and tissue swelling, helps improve venous return.  They are not a cure. But compression  is first line therapy. Knee high devices generally are best tolerated.
