Pretty much the same: The active ingredient in most OTC yeast treatments is an "azole" drug (clotrimazole, miconazole, teraconazole, and several others). All are very effective. You can safely choose the one that's most convenient (e.g. only 1-3 doses) or the least expensive. The pharmacist can help you choose. Be sure it's yeast before self treating; most vaginal discharge isn't yeast. See doctor if any doubt.

No best solution: Ecoli bacteria comes from yourself; your own GI tract. I would begin by paying closer attention to hygenic practices, like always wiping from the font to the back when you urinate/move your bowels. I wouldn't douche but using a peri-bottle to irrigate your vulva & perianal area might help. Utilizing intravaginal preparations like luvena may be helpful in keeping the balance of good & bad bacteria.

It depends...: ...information you don't provide. E coli rarely causes vaginal infection and usually doesn't need any antibiotic. However, E coli in the vagina can predispose to urinary tract infections. Many or most E coli strains are resistant to amoxicillin; best antibiotic for UTI varies from case to case. Do not treat yourself with leftover or self-purchased amox or other antibiotic. Discuss w/ your doctor.

One of the most common causes is contact dermatitis which can be caused by any chemical and is commonly caused by dyes, deodorants, or perfumes in soaps, fabric softeners, body washes, detergents, pads, or toilet papers. Yeast infections can cause it and some are resistant to the common meds. Hope this helps

You don't need treatment on account of this result.
