Vaginal Pain: Vaginal discomfort is most often related to infection, trauma, allergy, endometriosis or chemical irritation. A medical history, vaginal exam, microscopic examination and bacterial culture may be necessary to make a diagnosis. Until you see your physician it is impossible to know what if any medication is indicated.

Depends: There are many causes for vaginal pain. The first step is to see your doctor for an accurate diagnosis. Pain could be due to a yeast infection, a herpes infection, a bartholin's cyst, an allergic reaction, vaginismus or a number of other conditions. They would each be treated differently.
