What treatment: A lot of things can cause vaginal itching so you may have been treating the wrong thing. One of the most common causes is contact dermatitis which can be caused by any chemical and is commonly caused by dyes, deodorants, or perfumes in soaps, fabric softeners, body washes, detergents, pads, or toilet papers. Yeast infections can cause it and some are resistant to the common meds. Hope this helps

Evaluate cause first: First determine the cause by visiting your gynecologist. There may be a variety of reasons for the itching ranging from hygiene, to trauma, to allergic reaction, to bacterial/yeast infection, etc. Once the cause can be identified, a recommendation can be made.
