Yes for bupropion: Bupropion is known to cause tinnitus in some people. It is not listed as a side effect of plavix (clopidogrel).

i am waking up in the night with a very cold feeling along with tingling in my head. thought i was cold, warming up doesn't stop it. recent changes: quit smoking and celebrex (celecoxib). only occurs at night.

See ent: U need to have someone look in your ear and may need a tympanogram and nasopharyngoscopy. Smoking cessation may contribute to this but you cannot be sure.

Concerned: I always get concerned when someone mentions ear and throat symptoms on the same side as this may be indication of inflammation, ulcer, or tumor of throat. It is good that you have an appointment to see ENT in a couple weeks.  Hope it is nothing serious.

See ENT again: 5 months is a long time, and if your symptoms have persisted, I think another consultation is needed. Did the ENT doctor directly visualize your vocal cords before saying there was nothing wrong?  I think another look is warranted.

Yes: You might try a lower dose patch but if your heart is racing you are getting more nicotine than you  were while smoking so you have too strong of a patch right now.  You might also try using the gum instead (easier to control the dose & frequesncy) or talk to your md or dentist for a prescription med to try. Either way, congratulations on making a choice for better health!

Not carcinogenic: Nicotrol (nicotine patch) is just nicoine, and nicotine by itself is not known to be carcinogenic.  However, if you are worried, best thing to do is to taper off Nicotrol (nicotine patch) after successful with stop smoking.
