Im trying to stop smoking im trying the patch but it has my heart racing should i stop using it?

Yes: You might try a lower dose patch but if your heart is racing you are getting more nicotine than you were while smoking so you have too strong of a patch right now. You might also try using the gum instead (easier to control the dose & frequesncy) or talk to your md or dentist for a prescription med to try.
