Yes for bupropion: Bupropion is known to cause tinnitus in some people. It is not listed as a side effect of plavix (clopidogrel).

Yes, bupropion can: Bupropion has been used to help stop tobacco use, but it was primarily an anti-depressant. It has several side effect risks so i'm not sure it is the best way to stop smoking or chewing. Have you tried other methods? Here's a tip however you quit: do not stop breathing like when you smoke. The pattern is actually good for you & people miss it when they quit. Pretend to: suck in. Hold, blow out.
