Not true: There are no contortions you can do with your body that would affect positioning of baby in uterus enough to cause problems. Go ahead and stretch and keep your mobility up!

Uncommon finding: This is found in 1/2 to 1 % of newborns & 2/3 have no additional issues of any importance. In some additional anomalies are found & should be obvious to the examining physicians. Some anomalies require special studies for detection like those of the kidneys.

Yes: They would check but not all knots are seen. They usually don't tighten until delivery and rarely are problems.

Consult G.Y.N.doctor: YourU/S revealing thick umbilical cord and small amount of fluid around  baby heart is not normal ,but may be it is going go away (fluid) .Subsequent U/S may show some change in fluid around heart .Persuming  there is no other abnormality  seen on U/S ,Wish every thing is going to be normal

Fetal doppler...: ...Can detect any movement of blood in the body, but with a false pregnancy, all the doppler rhythms should be at the same rate as the woman's heartbeat. Fetal heartbeat tends to be much faster so if you find that, the pregnancy is probably real.

Not much of a cord: During the first month there is a lot going on in development but there is not much of a cord as you may visualize it. A lot of the embryonic work goes on in a mass of tissue attached to a thick stalk. At about 30 days a crude cord is forming. The fetal cord has the ability to grow longer under tension. I've seen one 9 feet long compared to the nl 3. The only one i know snapped happened  @ birth.

Only 30 ???: I am  reluctant to accept the initial statement as realistic. Once a cord begins to prolapse it can produce an intermittent but complete obstruction to blood flow that may add up to a significant o2 deficit over time.I'm not sure anyone can estimate the insult accurately.If only 30, probably no long term effect. If low 1/5/10 min apgars and seizures in the 1st 24hr,it was longer and more problemat

Very common: Umbilical hernias will frequently become more prominent with pregnancy. If you have a bulge at the belly button that protrudes with exertion, you almost-certainly have one. Not all require surgical repair; but, if yours is causing pain and you are otherwise healthy, you should consider surgery. I advise you to see a hernia surgeon. Good luck!

does having a mesh that repaired a unbilical hernia afftect a pregnancy? can there be cimplication if birth is via csection?

Usually not: During the C-section your surgeon will avoid  the area , most of the time is not a problem.
