Retroverted: In some women the uterus is retroflexed(tilted back) and palpation of the uterus during a pelvic examination is incomplete. The pelvic ultrasound will complete the examination for you.

Neither, no: Fallopian tubes can be checked 2 ways: 1) HSG (hysterosalpingogram) an x-ray exam with contrast in the uterus, 2) at laparoscopy/surgery (chromotubation,) same idea but without the x-rays. Nothing - nothing - else gives reliable evaluation of tubes.

after 2 weeks of my d and c,i went 4 the followup check.my doc just did a pelvic exam by inserting his finger in.no ultrasound done. is it enough?

See below: It is likely that you had spontaneous loss of an early pregnancy, which is not uncommon. About 25% of early pregnancies are lost, mostly due to chromosomal defects in the embryo. Usually the only manifestation is a slightly heavy, delayed period. Your HCG at 15 suggests that you were pregnant but lost the embryo. An HCG level greater than 25 is diagnostic of pregnancy.

i had a pelvic exam, std test, urine tests n ultrasound all for pain on my right side near my pelvic area. results r normal waiting 4 pap any ideas?

Pelvic pain: You need to allow your physician to continue the evaluation. They may want further imaging studies (CT or MRI, etc.) and other tests. Sounds as if they are proceeding in a step by step very reasonable fashion. Stick with this and I hope everything will become clearer soon.

Ruptured cyst: Ruptured ovarian cyst is a common cause of pelvic pain associated with fluid collection around the affected ovary. This what may be going on. Discuss your ultrasound results with your doc. If the pain is not getting worse, observation, non-steroidal antiinflammatories such as naproxen, Ibuprofen and extra rest may help.

No but U/S can help: Sorry to hear about your abuse. Hopefully you getting help to help heal from that. 
An ultrasound can be an adjuvant to pelvic exam but shouldn't replace it. Maybe ask your family, friends, colleagues if they know of a compassionate, gentle physician/practitioner who can perform the exam. Discuss it first also with whatever practioner before hand so they know the situation and can help you through

Go back to doctor: The best person to answer your questions is the person who saw these to begin with.  Your gynecologist has your health as their major interest and am sure will be happy to discuss this issue with you.  If you are still not satisfied, most doctors will be happy to find you a second opinion.

: You did not mention urine C&amp;S and Kidney ultrasound. For all this you need to see a Urologist for proper exam and treatment, for it could be nonbacterial cystitis, stone or something else In the meantime pl drink plenty of water and keep the vulvo- vaginal area clean and take some AZO. No: Believe it or not ultrasounds have not been shown to positively effect outcomes in pregnancy and some argue cause more unneeded concern. Good news is that you don't need pelvic exams while pregnant. Visits are to monitor your blood pressure, the babies growth, etc. and this is done without a pelvic exam. Good luck with your pregnancy.
