No: Believe it or not ultrasounds have not been shown to positively effect outcomes in pregnancy and some argue cause more unneeded concern. Good news is that you don't need pelvic exams while pregnant. Visits are to monitor your blood pressure, the babies growth, etc. and this is done without a pelvic exam. Good luck with your pregnancy.
