Manage your thyroid: MCV in this range and with the untreated hypothryoidism that you acknowledge that you have in your list of clinical findings pretty much screams, "Hypothyroidism."  Please take care of it.  Any second-year medical student will tell you the same thing. Also trusting you're not abusing alcohol.

have low wbc 2.2 and low rbc. high mcv and rdw.  ua rbc 1+ and wbc 3+ and protein h, i don not have a bladder infection.  does this indicate anything?

Abnormal labs: Well there's probably more than one process going on here. First of all, your WBCs are low - which could indicate there's an immunity problem. Secondly, it appears some of your red blood cell indices are off - there should be an explanation for that. Then, your urine has 'sediment' in it, which may relate to the primary problem your blood work is indicating. Best to see a doc in consultation.

Normal thyroid lab studies.: Your thyroid lab studies are within normal limits on whatever dose of Synthroid (thyroxine) you are now taking. Hypothyroidism particularly if due to Hashimoto's thyroiditis can be associated with other autoimmune entities such as pernicious anemia characterized by low B12 levels. in that situation B12 must be administered either sublingually daily or intramuscularly on a monthly basis. Active menses?

my ua showed rbc: trace and a microscopic analysis showed rbc 0-2.  doc said final results were zero...why then would it not show none instead of 0-2?

UA RBC 0-2: The UA which shows RBC 0-2 is absolutely normal, already you have the number 0, 2 is an extremely small number very close to 0.
Therefore your Dr. is correct in saying is normal

Her doctors office: Sounds more like a urinary tract infection, and they do not always cause symptoms. The doctor who ordered the urinalysis is responsible for telling you their interpretation and recommending treatment.  If you have concerns and want a second opinion, a urologist would be the appropriate specialist to see.  Stopping smoking would reduce her risk of all associated cancers, including bladder.

DM: Diabetic nephropathy can occur in any diabetic.  If you have symptoms of urinary tract infection, these lab results are supportive.  They do not suggest nephropathy.  E. Coli is often resistant to cipro (ciprofloxacin).

Never ignore blood: You should be evaluated by a urologist. Guidelines say you should have a basic metabolic panel, a CT scan with contrast dye (CT urogram), and a cystoscopy.

: Cystitis, especially the hemorragic type, can cause 3 + blood and 1+ leukocyte, more important are your symptoms.  If you have frequency and painful voiding (dysuria), bladder infection (cystitis) is likely, especially if nitrite is also positive (negative nitrite does not rule out infection though) and urine culture can confirm that. Your doctor may treat it empirically without urine culture.

ua dipstick = 3 rbc but neg for blood.  all other values norm. cystoscopy was excellent. mru all clear. why rbc's?  dr. said see you in 5 yrs

Rbc in urine: The dipstick does not count RBCs. If micro showed rbis may be too low for dip to show. I assume urine was a clean catch midstream? If not then repeat as rbis may not be in urine but from menses.
