i have teeth sensitivity and teeth pain. i'm a long term user of steroids and on bp medications as well. will that cause teeth sensitivity? when i consulted a dentist, he said my teeth is fine and suggested a flouride tooth paste. what i have to do n?

: As long as you do not have carious lesions or periodontal issues the concentrated fluoride toothpaste should help. If not, fluoride trays can be fabricated that you can fill with concentrated gel which can be worn an hour or so per day until the sensitivity is resolved.

my 2 year old has a really bad daiper rash. for about 2 and 1/2 weeks. i have tried butt paste, extra strength butt paste, triple paste, baby powder, vaseline. nothing seems to help in fact it seems to get worse. and every chance she gets she scratches it

A : A more specific description of the rash would be helpful.
If it's blister like or fluid filled bumps you should let your pediatrician take a look at it.
If it's red in the groin skin folds or maybe small pink/red dots then it may be yeast. In that case, try applying lotrim af 4-6 times a day. Lotrimin (clotrimazole) is an antifungal used for athletes foot treatment as well and you will find it on the foot product aisle.
If it's a beefy red color around her rectum then let your pediatrician take a look at it.

our 14 month old has yeast infection. we are using lotrimin (clotrimazole) and triple paste and changing diaper frequently. the back iscleared now. any other tips?

See Pediatrician: Needs to be evaluated to make sure there is no secondary bacterial infection.   Also topical treatments usually require diligent use of the medication for weeks and tushy cream of choise with every diaper change.  But the fungus may also have a resistance to that medication and your md can prescribe  a stronger form or possibly an oral version. Skin irritation from moister/ph. Might try new diaper.

19 mo old w/ yeast infection for 2 wks. tried nystatin, monistat, clotrimazole, zinc oxide, triple paste, maloxx, & no diaper. not working, its worse.

Intertrigo: Your child may not have a yeast infection but a bacterial infection. Your child has an intertrigo from moisture. A good prescription is vytone cream 1% which has two components: an iodine derivative that treats yeast, bacteria and fungus and a mild cortisone to help with the skin irritation.

: Just because you have upper back discomfort does not mean you have a kidney infection. If you are concerned, you need to have your urine tested and an exam.

Of course you can.: If you like "almond paste" there is no problem. What matters is the quantity of things you eat. I believe everything in moderation and common sense is reasonable.
Personally , i would prefer to actually eat almonds than "almond paste".

Hmmm: You likely have a reaction to something.  Try Hydrocortisone cream and see your doctor. Feel better.

It can be...: That is one of the many ways that doctors treat warts.  You just need to use it regularly and remove the dead skin occasionally for it to work best.

Accepted Answer

Not so much: Colgate is good for brushing your teeth and preventing gum disease.  Products containing salicylic acid, alpha hydroxy acids or benzoyl peroxide are good for acne.

can you overdose on oral anesthetic paste?

Anesthetic paste: You need to follow the directions on the tube of paste. Do not overdo things. There are always limits to any material used in the mouth so be careful. Follow instructions carefully.
