Yes: People have died from to much anesthetic. It is rare but it can happen. Your dentist knows how much to give safely. If you are using an anesthetic paste at home for an oral condition, short term use is ok. If the pain lasts a long time, you really need to get it checked out. If it is not for an oral condition, you are using the product in a manner for which it is not intended. You can od!
