i had rhabdo in december 2017 from overexertion at gym. if i do a two or three hour hike, is it possible to get rhabdo from that??

Rhabdomyolysis: It is possible to develop rhabdo after a long hike lasting hours due to breakdown of muscle tissue. People who have had rhabdo have a greater chance of developing it. Keep hydrated, listen to your body and avoid medications like Advil,etc which can affect kidney function. Dark urine and significant muscle pain are warnings.

NSAIDS, ice, heat...: Pain, stiffness, and inflammation can be relieved  with over-the-counter medications like advil or aleve (naproxen). Follow directions on label. Ice for about 45 minutes will address inflammation and swelling, never apply ice to the skin, always over a towel or clothing. Follow this by heat for about 20 to 25 minutes to help soothe and relax tight muscles. Gentle range of motion and stretching exercises.

i have chemical vapors trapped in my lungs. i was diagnosed with chemical bronchitis. can i overexertion myself ie running,  to clean my lungs out? ??

Yes: You do not still have the vapors, but you do have the lining of your lungs inflamed and therefore not able to work as well. Running or other physical exertion would be putting an undo burden on your lungs. They must heal, not be challenged. Running off out of shape 'pain" is okay, but running off damage is unwise and  can worsen the situation or at least prolong the recovery

Rhomboids: rhomboid muscle injury is usually caused by overuse of your shoulder and arm. This can happen from:
Overhead activities, Rowing, Carrying a heavy backpack, Poor posture, especially while you are using a computer for a long time. Injury causes pain in the upper back between your shoulder blade and your spine and tightness in the muscles

with lupus, is it normal that, even when i am doing well, i am extremely sensitive 2 lack of sleep &overexertion. if i overdue it, i get warning signals of a flare & intense fatigue.common or unusual?

May be normal: It is not unusual to be fatigued after over exerting yourself and for lack of sleep.You need to find your threshold and try to get at least 7 hours of sleep and avoid over exertion
but i will also suggest you see your doctor and get checked, complete physical exam and if indicated blood test etc.

on vacation. upstate ny. climbed a steep mountain. my heart rate was 161 the entire time. now, at the bottom im beyond exhausted. my body feels very heavy and im very tired. not used to working out. hr is normal. will i be ok? or overexertion bad?

: Deconditioning from lack of exercise may be the cause. If you have chest pain, shortness of breath please see acute care. Use sunscreen and a hat. If symptoms develop, consider Lyme testing. Drink fluids and rest.

Your : Your symptoms as a teen could have been due to a number of factors including dehydration, heat-related illness, or deconditioning with exhaustion.  If you still get these symptoms with exercise (or at rest), you should see your doctor and prepare for an evaluation that looks at cardiovascular, neurologic, and metabolic abnormalities.  If these symptoms eventually went away, i wouldn't lose too much sleep worrying.

Normal: you are describing a normal healthy person.  If yourveins hurt it could be the muscles being tired.  Try raising your arms after completing your exercise or work.  The veins will go flat.  If this happens then just rest after your exercise and then veins will flatten earlier.

Inner : Inner ear dcs is an extremely rare form of dcs and is not likely based on your dive profile. It is most commonly seen in deep dives with heliox mixtures (edmonds et al, diving and subaquatic medicine, 2002) and may be associated with changes of breathing gas at deep depths as a result of isobaric counterdiffusion (brubakk and neuman, physiology and medicine of diving, 2003), neither of which was present in your dive history.

Additional history with regard to the onset of symptoms (during the dive, immediately after dive, delayed onset after dive) could help to differentiate iedcs from other etiologies. It would also be helpful to know whether the symtoms have improved or resolved, and if so, when.

Physical examination would provide helpful information in making an accurate diagnosis. Iedcs can be associated with acute sensorineural hearing loss, vertigo and tinnitis (ringing in the ears). Inner ear barotrauma may present with many overlapping symptoms, so direct visualization of the ear drum and hearing tests would be mandatory before a diagnosis of iedcs can be made.

Although i believe that iedcs is very unlikely in your case, the only way to be sure is to be examined by a qualified physician.
