Tincture of time: For small lacerations, healing will occur in 7-10 days on its own.
For larges cuts , you should see a dentist and they will probably place some sutures to close the wound to allow for better healing w/ less scarring.

Post concussive : After a concussion it is not unusual to have some persistent headache, dizziness, vertigo or general malaise.  So long as the symptoms are getting better slowly, I wouldn't worry too much.  If increased activity worsens the symptoms, slow down and see if doing a little less helps improve your symptoms.  It may take 4-6 weeks to get back to normal. If you are getting worse, go see your doctor!!

Get evaluated: Best to see a doctor in case sutures are necessary. Keep things clean and rinse with warm salt water until you see your doctor.

i have had a tooth distracted 1 week ago n still hurt really bad in my head, ear n through, went back to dentist but still hurt! is that normal?

Probably not: Keeping in mind that everybody's pain tolerance is difference, i would say this probably isn't normal.  Could be a dry socket, or if you had a prosthesis placed in the area, it may need to be adjusted.  Also possible for small fragments of bone to work their way out after the extraction, but if i had to guess, either a dry socket or an infection would be at the top of my list.

i had a large fall face first today and cut my head open and chipped a tooth. went to the docs and they said stuff about the pulp in tooth etc. i looked at my teeth myself and saw both front teeth have cracks all through them. will they need to go?

: Have your dentition examined by a dentist. Together with radiographs s/he can determine if there is any damage and appropriate treatment.

Get it checked: Your tongue is very sensitive to changes in your mouth so it is normal to feel this before it can be seen. It should be checked out as soon as possible as these can become quite painful as they progress and potentially dangerous.

Possibly : Your tooth is reacting to the drop in temperature that occurs when you open and yawn. Does the tooth tingle if you drink a cold liquid?
See your dentist for an evaluation.

Best to be : Evaluated by a dentist.  Once an exam and appropriate x-rays are taken a more definitive diagnosis and aporopriate treatment recomnendations can be rendered.  Hope this helps.
