Sore throat: Your sore throat and tonsil enlargement can be secondary to post nasal drip from nasal allergies. Ask your doctor for a steroid nasal spray, it will appease your symptoms.

Enlarged tonsils: Tonsilar hypertrophy or enlarged tonsils does not always indicate an infection or inflammation. Enlarged tonsils can be dangerous however if they come togerther "kiss" in the bach of the throat.

Enlarged tonsil: There are different reasons for an enlarged tonsil, including infection and cancer. A physical examination would provide more ands for you.

Not advised.: Streptococcal bacterial infection can cause the symptoms your 4 y/o displays and a strep test may be needed. Best to see a pediatrician.

Pharyngitis: If it persists would be best to have her seen by her physician.  Majority of cases are viral in nature and need no treatment.  You need to rule out strep throat, which can only be done with a test,  which is the one cause that needs antibiotics.

ColdSeasonIsADrag!!!: You tried to get rid of the congestion by what-ing it out? Anyways, hard to say exactly what you should do but it sure sounds like you're miserable. So...if you have a fever and bad sore throat and maybe some tender spots on the front side of your neck, then get to a doctor but even if not, if you're feeling this bad tomorrow, go get seen. Meanwhile take Motrin or Tylenol (acetaminophen) and keep up with fluids.

Mono?: Have you ever been tested for mono or ebstein barr virus? Mononucleosis can cause persistent fatigue and enlarged tonsils. Other possibility is recurrent tonsillitis or sleep apnea. Please see a doctor for a more thorough evaluation.
