Otologist: If you've seen an ENT he has done tests and given your a diagnosis/treatment. If you want another opinion, I'd recommend an otologist. A ENT expert with a additional fellowship in ears.

Yes and no: Chiropractors are trained so if they are confident, then they are good. But with any doctor i'm any discipline, just ask questions and if something doesn't make sense. Ask questions!

Tinnitus: Tinnitus is noise or ringing in the ears. There is no drug for cure. Tinnitus is not a disease, but a condition that can result from many underlying causes (e.g.Tmj). Rec.: see ENT or orofacial pain specialist to rule out secondary pathology.

: I assume you're experiencing intermittent facial neuralgia. The pulsatile tinnitus is most likely not related and I don't think TMJ is a cause.  I recommend consulting a specialist in facial neuralgia at the department of neurology at a university hospital near you.

Yes: Jaw muscle dysfunction is the most common cause of jaw and ear pain, ear ringing and stuffiness.  Other causes include inflammation of the jaw joint/s, headache disorders, salivary gland disease, and ear infections.  Some medical illnesses can also exhibit these symptoms.  Try warm compresses over the jaws, antylenol or advil (ibuprofen). Consult an orofacial pain dentist for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

Sleep guard: Ask your doc/dentist about the use of a sleep guard.  There are soft plastic versions at the drug store or your dentist can make one just for you.  It&#x27;s surprising how easy it is to sleep with this between your teeth and it helps prevent bruxism (teeth grinding).

2 mos my right ear started popping outta nowhere with certain movements, sometimes when i eat. i have tinnitus&tmj it's really loud you can actually hear it. it's not coming from my jaw. seeing 2nd ent for 2nd opinion. pain and full after pops. ideas?

: Sounds like objective tinnitus from the TMJs. Get a mouth guard from a dentist or a drugstore. No jowling. Stay on soft foods for one week. No gum chewing or hard consistency foods. if noise is high pitched, see ENT. Take ibuprofen

clicks in ear/throat off and on since nov, went away came back 2 weeks ago daily off and on. i have bfs,tinnitus,tmj,gerd and etd. someone said palatal myoclonus on here? i have an ent and neuromuscular dr. scopes/exam normal. what else could this be?
