See below : Try opening and closing your mouth slowly with the tip of your  tongue touching your soft palate + you could take a pain killer +  try hot/cold contrast therapies, and  please get checked up by a maxilofacial surgeon to get treatment

TMJ & burning mouth: Tmj is a three letter acronym for temporal mandibular joint.  The term is incorrrectly applied to symptoms of pain related to many causes affecting the joint itself. It checked by a dentist who can locate and treat the causes for the pain.  Two of many reasons for burning mouth are burning mouth syndrome or more likely infection.  Some nutritional deficiencies or drugs can also cause it.

Most cases of glossitis are minor and can be treated with home remedies. TMJ ?: If it is TMJ, i believe it should not effect your hearing.  ENT would be the doctor that you need to see next. May be referred to one other specialist to make a diagnosis.

Further testing: Needed, like x-rays or ct scan to determine if the cause is TMJ , but the direct cause of the burning and aching cheek muscle is bruxism , which can be treated by a simple night guard, ask your dentist

Why not clear the TMJ?

i've development what looks like a blister or pimple on the back of my jaw (inside mouth) today. no pain, slight burning. no weird taste. have tmj. feels like a sore or tonsil stone. have a dentist appointment in a week, can i wait? it's the weekend?

: It is probably a fistula. Fistula is a draining tract which allow all the drainage from a lesion to drain and yes, reduce inflammation and therefore there is no pain. The tooth has no pain so probably the nerve is already dead. Since there is no pain and the tooth is draining, you can wait couple weeks or even months
