will the pain from biting down on my incisors and hitting a bracket go away?

Yes: Of course when your brakets are removed.  Every time you hit the bracket you are taking the tooth and focring it into the socket.  There are multiple nerves endings in the socket and this is why you feel pain.  Actually , the trauma might actually cause a swelling in the ligament space which could make the tooth tender for several days if not weeks.

hi, my son who is 1 year 3 months has had a temperature since yesterday of 38deg. calprol brings his temperature down for only 2 hours. he is slightly chesty. he is biting allot so it could just be teething. should we wait a few days or visit  dr?

Normal infection: Mild fever and cough in a toddler is very common. Continue to give fever reducer but no other meds. Make sure he is drinking lots of fluids, especially electrolyte solutions. His eating might be off, but will resume once this illness passes. See a Dr for Wheezing, severe coughing with throwing up, fever over 39.

Rec.: see an orofacial pain specialist for stress control, sleep hygiene and night guard fabrication. You also can visit your dentist for night guard.

It would be very: Unlikely to die from biting one's lip. However, if an infection developed in that area, that went untreated - theoretically it might lead to death. This is all not likely to occur.

Possible sinusitis : I note in your history several sinus scans. The Maxillary Sinus is right above the upper teeth and an inflamed sinus can make the teeth sore.
Give it a week and if the symptoms are still present, check with your ENT. If the sinus is clear, go see your dentist. Good luck.
