i have had pain/tension off-and-on for several months in my hip (or it could be considered the top of my leg on the front side) and my lower back -- both on right side.  is there a stretch to eliminate tightness?  walking/standing make pain worse.

Yes: You really need to see an ortho doc who can do manuevers on you to see if it's hip, S-I joint or disc related. If it's SI, you can put ur right leg on a table and bend your torso forward to increase flexibiity. There are others you can google: exercises for sacroileitis. You might need an MRI of the hip/pelvis.

the top of my right leg (just below my hip) goes numb when i lay down, and when i'm stood up it feels tight, i can stap a pin in it and not feel it?

Meralgia parasthetic: This could be from compression of the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve, a condition called meralgia parasthetica. Often caused by wearing tight fitting pants or belts, but there are other causes as well.

See details: It is really impossible to give a specific answer without being able to examine the area. Causes can be gi, gyn or musculoskeletal. Have it evaluated.

Neuro-vascular.: A little more information as to the onset. Began suddenly as opposed to slowly developing. The area of the tarsal tunnel may be compromised. To remove all doubt,  have your symptoms reviewed and ankle examined by a specialist.

You have multiple : Issues going on hat may not be related at all and you really should go to he doctor to be evaluated. The pinky toe issue could be an interdigital corn or fungus, no feeling in your right leg only sounds like you may have a nerve impingement somewhere, pain to the top of the foot would need a clinical exam and possible xrays as hat is too broad a complaint.

i am 21 wks preg & think i have a superficial blood clot behind my knee. i think it was caused by too-tight compression socks during prev preg (sig edema & socks top band was too tight). can this turn into dvt? treatment?

Maybe superficial: This is likely not DVT.  DVT usually is associated with leg swelling and pain.  DVT has a higher incidence in pregnancy.  If these symptoms are present, contact a provider.

Could be many: The typical cause of tightness is edema or fluid in the interstitial space .  Storage of muco-polysaccharide tissue under skin in hypothyroidism is also a reason for skin tightness .Some other causes including lymphatic obstruction  and rate genetic disorders are also causes to be considered after excluding the commonest causes

Yes: Any "extremely tight" muscles will tend to pull the body out of normal alignment.  In a 42 year old males who know the term "adductors" is probably exercising and muscle building.   That makes me suspect that your training practices are inducing the problem.  Plan to spend more time stretching before and after exercise.  10-20 min.  Also strengthen the opposing abductors.  This should be fixable.

See a doctor: you need to see a doctor riht away to make sure that the thightness in your calf is not a vein problem, and not a clot in your vein.
if you are smoker, or taking BCP,or recent long travel required sitting for a long time, or your job demand you to sit for a long time, and you are not physically active, the odd will be much higher that it could be a clot.then go to the ER.
otherwise see your doctor

Rubbing: Causes the burning. It will stop after wearing the tight panties. Meanwhile put some soothing lotion like eucerin calming lotion on it to make it feel better.
