Yes: Any "extremely tight" muscles will tend to pull the body out of normal alignment. In a 42 year old males who know the term "adductors" is probably exercising and muscle building. That makes me suspect that your training practices are inducing the problem. Plan to spend more time stretching before and after exercise. 10-20 min. Also strengthen the opposing abductors. This should be fixable.
