Physical therapy: Should help a lot. Based on your description there is more to the story.  Exercise as part of the overall approach should only help. Is it possible that you may be experiencing depression symptoms. Have you ever experienced similar symptoms?

the left side of my left foor is numb, before this happened i was wearing tight shoes and a tight knee brace on the left for 3 hours, i usually do this but it's the first time that i feel this numbness, will it recover or should i seek help?

Ultrasound Review: Acute swelling symptoms, one should be concerned about deep venous thrombosis.   This life threatening problem can be determined on physical exam and a focus venous ultrasound examination by a physician skill in treating venous disease.  Check out the american venous forum or american college of phlebology. I recommend review.

i wore tight knee high boots for 3-5 hrs. they cut off circulation. feet went numb.now i have pain behind my leg.could this be dvt? i'm young&healthy.

Unlikely: in ' young &amp; healthy ' active person to develop  DVT  by wearing right boots , but see your doctor if suspicious will do a doppler study and and clears your mind.

hyperextended knee 2 months ago. still feels tight behind knee and sore, especially after doing activity. what could be going on?

I personally recommend massage therapy with physical therapy for chronic pain syndromes.  If this doesn't work, you will need a more in depth evaluation.

can sciatica cause knees to swell after standing or walking for awhile? or tightness behind knee? i feel the nerve behind my thigh sometimes..maybe its irritated. when i do sciatica stretches i feel some relief. knee hasnt been swollen for some time?

: Are you overweight is my concern, however sciatica is used to describe the compression on the sciatic nerve that may come from abnormalities in the structures as it comes out of the spine, it may show is pain behind the thigh . The knee swelling is probably a different issue and it is best to get physical evaluation for better management.

i had tendities 2 months ago.now with rest im better.i go back to daily routine in walking but i had feeling of tightness around knee and my leg feels so fatigue after 10 mins walking.is this normal.slight swelling above knee still exists.no pain?

Yes: Given your 2 months of illness. The muscles can weaken. I think you will find as you continue with your walking your legs will strengthen and your fatigue will improve.

See details: Then see an orthopedist and have the area examined. No one can answer your question without examining the calf.

No: On the contrary it may help to prevent clots (superficial phlebitis and DVT )  by preventing the pooling ( stagnation )  of blood, should use   during long air flights and drives.

Possible: Unfortunately, though rare, you can still develop a clot even on medication.  The filter doesn't prevent clot it just prevents it from shooting up to the lung.
