hyperextended knee 2 months ago. still feels tight behind knee and sore, especially after doing activity. what could be going on?

Chronic tear: With hyperextension, you could have partially torn a tendon, muscle, or ligament around the knee. If this doesn't work, you will need a more in depth evaluation.
