Thyroid: Thyroid cancer may be completely silent or asymptomatic. Symptoms might include neck pain or tenderness, lymph gland swelling, swallowing difficulty, hoarseness or voice changes, fatigue.

Thyroid : Thyroid cancer can cause hoarseness, but usually you would notice a lump on your thyroid gland by the time you got hoarseness. You definitely need to have your doctor evaluate you, because swollen lymph nodes that don't go away could indicate several serious conditions and thyroid cancer is just one of them. Hoarseness for no obvious reason also needs to be evaluated. You should see an ear nose and throat doctor.

since having thyroid cancer my tsh is now. lose to 0.1, however i am very fatigued. could this be the reason?

Could be: With a history of thyroid cancer it's generally thought  advisable to keep TSH around 0.1. TSH is the pituitary hormone that stimulates the thyroid . Keeping it low is to avoid stimulation of any cancer that may remain. But if your thyroxine dose is excessive [T4 level above normal range], that can cause fatigue.

i've had my thyroid removed due to thyroid cancer and lately my tongue burns and my muscles feel very fatigued and burn slightly all the time.related?

Thyroid: Was it removed surgically or ablated with radioactive iodine? When was TSH last checked? Med dose may be low, but should also follow-up with oncologist to make sure cancer did not spread. Parathyroid function should also be checked (regulates calcium levels, which can affect muscles).

i am having eye issues - blurriness, constant eye fatigue - post rai treatment for thyroid cancer (3 weeks ago). is there anything that will help?

Consult ur MD: These are not normal side effects  There should be no effects on the yes or blurriness

NOt related to RAI treatment
Fatigue is a possibility sine ur thyroid functions were suppressed to make the thyroid hungry for treatment and should dissipate as u resume ur thyroid repl therapy

Possibly: Hypothyroidism if present is best treated with synthetic T4 levothyroxine Synthroid  There is variability in absorption and distribution of generic T4 vs. brand names Also variability in  generic formulations of pure T3 Cytomel, (liothyronine)  T4/T3 therapy may have some advantages over T4 alone. If disease ?  in neck      excision,needed because cure rate at your age very high even in metastatic disease

Normal: The recurrent laryngeal nerve, which controls your vocal cords, travels directly under the thyroid and easily becomes damaged during the surgery.  Being intubated and having your neck muscles manipulated during the surgery also contribute to voice problems.  It should get better within 3-4 months.

May be: It is possible. Go to bring her to see gp and get some blood work to check her thryoid hormone level. If it is still low- the thyroxin dose should be then adjusted. Having said that other possibility like anemia etc- should be also ruled out.
