No: Scar tissue in the region  of the throat is usually the response to an inflammatory  process.  Biopsy reveals fibroblastic tissue but no malignant cells  Scar tissue is very rarely found in  throat cancer but rather a non healing area of ulceration.

i cut the back of my throat-left side. it doesnt hurt but the scar tissue from where tonsils were is torn.. should i be concerned?

No: No, this should heal in due time. If you have problems swallowing or persistent pain, then see your doctor, but this should resolve on its own.

More to it: than what you are telling . If you had  3 surgeries  need exact location location ( throat is a wide area ) and biopsy report , of course symptoms . Best person to answer is your own surgeon , physician has the obligation to give you the diagnosis to you , not your family , even if it unpleasant news

See a Doctor: A neck mass can be serious so please get checked.  I can't tell what a mass is unless i examine a patient and that is hard to do over the internet.  It could be a swollen lymph node and that could be from an infection or from cancer so don't fool around.  Good luck!

Cervical spine MRI: Focuses on the spine and disks of the neck. Mri of the neck is designed to see all the soft tissues as well as the spine and is not as detailed a look at the spine. Mri contrast is often used for neck MRI and less so with cervical spine mri. Mri is usually better than ct looking at/characterizing neck soft tissues (masses, etc.).

Smoking : Smoking is a cancer causing habit. With your concurrent medical conditions, you are at risk for developing the full spectrum of cancer. Nodules can grow on the scar tissue present on your throat. It is important that smoking does not focus on one area of tissue and cause a tissue change. But tissues that are constant contact with the chemicals will be weakened, can get irritated and are at higher risk for developing abnormal growths. Stop smoking, you are still young and research shows that after about 5-10 years, your lungs will return to a normal state of health.

Unclear: I'm not sure what your question is.  Scar tissue is a an area of fibrous tissue where there has been an injury.  It has the same building blocks as normal tissue but they are arranged in such a way that they are usually stiffer.  There can be increased blood flow in the area with redness or an increase in pigment.
