Anxiety Treatment: Propranolol is primarily a treatment for the symptoms of anxiety--panicky feeling, racing heart, increased blood pressure, sweaty palms--rather than a treatment FOR anxiety.  I would take it every 6 hours while awake, but watch for low blood pressure and slow heart rate.  Also consider seeing a psychologist for counseling and/or requesting an antidepressant with anxiolytic features such as Paxil (paroxetine).

Pilonidal Cysts?: The only thing i can think of is that perhaps you have an ingrown hear at the site of pain causing a skin infection known as a pilonidal cyst. If this is the case then the antibiotics you were on may be ineffective to combat the infection causing the tailbone pain.

can bats leave at three puncture mark? my son has a bite that looks like three puncture marks but im concerned this could be a bat but hes been at camp for a week so i have no way of knowing hes too young to talk.can i upload pic here?

i had an ear infection 3 weeks ago and went to the doc but was told itll heal on its own. its been three weeks and i still cant hear properly. im worried it is permanent if left untreated. should i go back to the doc or leave it?

: In general, your doctor is correct because otitis media is usually self limited, i.e. disease resolves by itself, especially in children. However, antibiotic therapy may be considered in adult case. Your problem has been for three weeks but you do not get sicker, only some impaired hearing. I suggest using Nasacort or Nasonex spray (OTC) for  7-10 days then you can see your doctor if not improved.

Good question: Presumably you were given psychiatric medication for a condition that required treatment. Stopping the medication will expose the underlying condition, exacerbated by the particular withdrawal effects of the medication. The withdrawal effects will eventually go away, but you're still left with the condition that first prompted you to seek treatment.  Talk to your doctor.

Nuvaring: When using the nuvaring, the common way to use it is to wear it for 3 weeks, then take it out for a week to have a period, then put a new one in for another 3 weeks.  That way a new ring is put in every four weeks.
