I have been given propranolol for my aniexty three times a day i was wondering about how many hours i should leave in between them thanks ?

Anxiety Treatment: Propranolol is primarily a treatment for the symptoms of anxiety--panicky feeling, racing heart, increased blood pressure, sweaty palms--rather than a treatment FOR anxiety. I would take it every 6 hours while awake, but watch for low blood pressure and slow heart rate. Also consider seeing a psychologist for counseling and/or requesting an antidepressant with anxiolytic features such as Paxil (paroxetine).
