Vitamins: Your body is "peeing out" all the extra vitamins you do not need.  Usually the b vitamins make urine very yellow.    Stay well hydrated.  Ask your doctor if you actually need to take a daily vitamin.  Those who eat a healthy diet with plenty of veggies and some protein usually don't need a supplement.

Soccer headgear: Although there are protective helmets available, studies have had inconsistent results on how effective they are for preventing concussions.  Head injury can occur regardless of the age of the other team members.  What is most important is, if your daughter does have impact to her head, that she stop playing and be assessed by a doctor.  Too many kids continue playing and risk further injury.

Exercise for seniors: It is best for seniors to check with their physician before launching a program of excercies.  Many of us jump in too fast, over-do it, and fail. Remember it is a gradual, cumulative benefit; needn't rush, be consistent most of all. Water based exerc is good for old joints and muscles, swim, water aerobics, "walking."  weight training done right is great, keep u out of wheelchair and active.

Eyelid scrubs: For my patients with blepharitis i recommend a regimen of daily lid scrubs using either liquid cetaphil facial cleanser for gentle skin or ocusoft scrubs(pretreated towelettes) and warm compresses. If the blepharitis is severe then i will prescribe an antibiotic/steroid combination drop or ointment and occasionally an oral antibiotic like periostat (doxycycline). The key treatment is the lid hygiene.
